Head Master's Notices

The cast and crew of Billy Elliot have been very busy this week with their final rehearsals for the performance in the West End this Sunday. I sincerely hope that everyone involved in the production thoroughly enjoys the experience, I know that I am really looking forward to it.

Best wishes and good luck to our Female Voices Choir who are competing later today at the Barnardos Choir Competition Final.

Tomorrow, the boys’ hockey teams take on KES Bath, whilst the netball squads play King’s Bruton and KES Bath.

I wish you all an enjoyable and restful weekend.

Work Experience

The school is always very keen to hear from parents who may be able to offer work experience/shadowing opportunities or who are aware of work experience programs in the organisation they work for. The pupils gain a huge amount from the process and, in our experience, those involved on the employer side also find the process most worthwhile.
Placement duration tends to be between two and five days and arranging them is far simpler than many anticipate. If you would like to know more then do please contact either James O’Hanlon j.ohanlon@dauntseys.org or Carrie Watson c.watson@dauntseys.org in the Careers Department

Manor Matters

Manor students had a great day cooking last Sunday, and the meal – garlic bread, burritos and eton mess – was enjoyed by all!

Treat night will take place this evening as normal, but the main focus for this week has been the fevered preparation for this weekend’s Manor’s Got Talent grand finale on Saturday night, which we are all thoroughly looking forward to. It starts at 7pm sharp, and we will look forward to welcoming many parents along for the evening.
