First Form Physics Lesson

Thank you for your interest in Dauntsey's. 

Choosing the right school for your child can be an exciting, but also daunting process.  Our Admissions Team is here to ensure that at the end of the process you feel safe in the knowledge that you have made the right decision for your child.

The Admissions Process

We aim to have a comprehensive, informative and welcoming process for admitting pupils to Dauntsey's. Selection for entry is based on academic criteria as well as carefully considering the character, interests and talents of each individual child.

We have three main entry points into Dauntsey's, age 11, 13, or 16, although occasionally pupils may be accepted into other year groups if space is available.

11+

For candidates wishing to enter into the First Form/Year 7, examinations and interviews take place at Dauntsey's in mid January of the year of entry. 

13+

For those joining at 13, selection is based on the ISEB Common Pre-Test (taken at prep schools early in the Spring Term of their Year 7) and interview, or our own entrance exams. 

Sixth Form

For those joining the Sixth Form, selection is based on predicted grades, school reference and an interview. At Sixth Form, both day and boarding places are available.

Open  Mornings

Throughout the year we run two Open Mornings (autumn and spring), as well as a number of Group Tours.  Please register online if you wish to attend.
