Fees

Fees and associated charges payable from September 2024 are shown below. Parents are asked to note that the fees are calculated as an annual sum collected in three equal instalments at the beginning of each term in accordance with our terms and conditions.

  • Day pupils £23,730 (£7,910 per term)
  • Boarding pupils £39,270 (£13,090 per term)
  • Flexi-boarding pupils (Year 7/8 only and subject to availability) - four nights per week £29,640 (£9,880 per term)
  • International boarding pupils £45,330 (£15,110 per term) * see below

* The International Boarding Fee includes all EAL (English as an additional language) lessons, tuition and examination costs of the IELTS programme; four airport transfers per term, membership of the Dauntsey's International Society and visa application support.

A 10% discount on boarding fees will apply for second and subsequent pupils from the same family attending Dauntsey’s together.  Fees are subject to review each year.

Deposits

A £1,000 deposit is payable on acceptance of a place at Dauntsey's.  This deposit will be held by Dauntsey's and deducted from the extras' account at the end of the pupil's final term. Fees may be paid direct by bank transfer or bankers drafts drawn on a UK bank for international pupils only. We regret we are unable to accept payment in cash or by cheque.

For International Pupils a further deposit equal to one term’s fee for an International Boarding Pupil of £15,110 is also payable. The additional deposit will also be held by Dauntsey’s and will normally be credited without interest against the final payment of fees or other sums due to the school on leaving.

Payment of Fees

The school's Terms and Conditions require fees to be paid in advance by the first day of each term. Fees not paid in full by the first day of term, or where payment is delayed, will normally attract a surcharge of 1.5% per month or part thereof.

Fees in advance

The school operates two different options for parents who wish to pay fees in advance.

Single Year Scheme

With this plan, parents are able to pay fees in advance for up to one year ahead only.  Further information for the academic year commencing in September 2024 will be available in late spring.

  • Registration for the scheme should be made via the Fees Manager no later than 2 May 2023.
  • Renewal is not automatic and an application needs to be made each year.
  • The annual undiscounted fee according to the quote must be paid in full by 1 June 2023.
  • Payments cannot be accepted after 1 June 2023.
