International Candidates

Choosing an overseas school for your child is a significant step, especially when visiting in person may not always be possible.

We understand the challenges our international families face and have tailored our admissions process to be just as accessible for them as for families in the UK.  Virtual tours, online meetings with myself and the Head Master, and introductions to key staff are all available to ensure you feel supported and confident in getting to know Dauntsey’s.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your next steps and how we can help with the process.

Helen Sullivan
Head of Admissions

Dauntsey’s is a full boarding school with a six-day-a-week academic timetable, ensuring a cohesive and vibrant community where boarding and day students come together as one.

Our commitment to fostering a strong sense of community is central to the Dauntsey’s experience.  We believe that this close-knit environment not only enhances students’ academic achievements but also supports their personal growth and well-being.  Our dedicated staff, rich traditions, and a diverse student body contribute to an inclusive atmosphere where every student can thrive.

Academic Programmes

There are a number of different entry points and academic programmes available to our international students.

Boarding Life

Our boarders are at the heart of our school community and every pupil joins one of five houses which are co-educational in the Lower School and single sex in the Upper School.

Guardians

Whatever your age, whilst you are a pupil at Dauntsey’s you must have a guardian who lives in the UK during term time. Your guardian must be available to act as loco parentis and take on the role and responsibilities of a parent, if necessary. Your guardian may also look after you during the exeat weekends during the year and for half term holidays.

We advise use of AEGIS/BSA accredited guardianship agencies.  If your guardian is not Aegis/BSA accredited please provide proof of identity and proof of address.
