Daily Routine

Whether day or boarding, all Dauntsey's pupils begin their day with registration and a short meeting with their housemaster or housemistress which takes place in their house. On weekdays, there are eight taught periods in the day, whilst on Saturdays there are six.

As a six-day-a-week school with boarding at its heart and co-curricular activities woven into the day, we can strike a balance between academic lessons and developing other interests. Evening events, such as lectures, drama and musical performances, are open to day pupils as well as our boarders.

Joining the Lower School is an exciting time - there are many opportunities and adventures waiting for you!  Have a look at what life is life for our pupils in the Lower School

School Uniform

School uniform is worn by all pupils from the First to the Fifth Form. Sixth Form students are not expected to wear school uniform but their dress and appearance should be in a style that would be appropriate in a formal business environment. School dress is worn until 17.30 from Monday to Friday and up to 13.30 on Saturdays, after which pupils may change into their own clothes. However, if pupils are involved in matches or any other school activity, including general set games, they must remain in uniform until their commitments are fulfilled.

School Shop

Our school shop is a welcoming and helpful hub of the  community which stocks all the required uniform as well as a wide range of sports accessories, toiletries, stationery, greetings cards and gifts.
