It is a legal requirement of the School that pupils whose parents are not resident in the UK during term time, have a guardian who is resident in the UK during term time and who can act in loco parentis if necessary. Please see paragraph 29 of Dauntsey's School Terms and Conditions. A guardian should be over 24 years of age and live within a reasonable distance of the School. All boarding pupils must have an appointed guardian before joining the school or commencing boarding. The School will make contact with appointed guardians at the start of term.
