Armed Forces Families

We are fortunate to count a number of the children of serving members of the UK Armed Forces amongst our pupils, and welcome new enquiries from service families considering boarding entry for their children.

Please call the Registrar, Jo Sagers, to discuss any aspect of admissions including scholarships and awards. The Bursar, Will Ethelston, will also be pleased to discuss financial planning with any service family eligible for the Continuation of Education Allowance (CEA).

Dauntsey's welcomes junior boarders at either aged 11 (Year 7) or at 13 (Year 9) into The Manor, our co-educational boarding house, situated a few minutes from the main school site. Home to 80 full-time boarders, The Manor is run very much as a family home with a large number of teaching staff living on site with their own families.

For more information about The Manor please visit our boarding at Dauntsey's pages.

Dauntsey’s is a very special school with the perfect mix of academic and non-academic pursuits set within an atmosphere of friendliness, kindness and encouragement. Whilst many schools prioritise raw academic results, Dauntsey’s stands out for its extraordinarily rounded approach to education where children are able to thrive on their own individual merits whether that is in the classroom or not. Dauntsey’s has a unique sense of fun and spirit of adventure which we hope will never change!”
