Dauntsey's Dodecahedron Finals Day 2019

We look forward to meeting the finalists on Thursday 20 June, together with any accompanying parents or teachers. Schools with invited finalists are requested to complete the online form at the bottom of this page by Monday 20 May.

Information and timings for Thursday 20 June

Timing: Please arrive at 09.30, or as soon afterwards as possible. The first competition will begin at 10.00.
Location: Dauntsey’s School in West Lavington. Park in the large car park behind the school. There you will be directed to the Pavilion where the event will take place. Useful link: map and directions.
Dress: We would suggest that competitors need not be in their school uniform. Comfortable clothing, including shoes suitable for running around outside, would be more appropriate.
Bring: Calculator, ruler, protractor, compasses, pen and pencil.
Lunch: A good lunch will be provided with vegetarian options available.
Result/prizes: The names of the first, second and third prize winners will be announced at 15:00. The Dodecahedron trophy will be presented to the new title holder. All finalists will receive a small prize, with a little extra for the top three. In addition to the Dodecahedron trophy, which will be held by the winner’s school for one year (after engraving), there will be a plaque to be retained permanently by the winner.

We hope that all finalists will thoroughly enjoy their day. We shall do our best to ensure that this happens.
