Head Master's Notices

I hope that you enjoyed the weekend and the Bank Holiday.

The exam season is underway with Public Examinations and internal exams due soon too. The Fifth Form are on study leave from tomorrow while lessons are nearly over for the Upper Sixth as well.  Their Leavers’ suppers and breakfast take place on 17 and 18 May.

Thank you to all those who have completed the Parental Survey so far, it closes in less than a week, so please do take this opportunity to let us have your views as soon as you can.

Tomorrow sees our last Open Morning of the year, followed by afternoon fixtures against Prior Park College, Kingswood, and Colston’s.

I hope that our Confirmation candidates enjoy the service in Salisbury Cathedral tomorrow evening and I wish you all a good weekend.

Parental Survey 2019

The Parental Survey was emailed out by RSAcademics last week. We are very grateful to all those who have already taken the time to complete it.

Please note that if we hold more than one email address for your family, the survey has gone to one account chosen at random, in order to ensure that we receive just one survey return per family.

However, we realise that some recipients have inadvertently deleted the survey email, and therefore, for those who have not yet completed it, RSAcademics will now send to two emails addresses per family.

The survey will close at midnight on Thursday (16 May), so please do complete and return as soon as you can.

Once again, our thanks for your support with this.
Jo Sagers, Registrar

Manor Matters

Our annual duck race was put on hold last week due to plummeting temperatures and a rather reluctant flock of ducks! We look forward to holding this event just before the half term holiday when, hopefully, the sun will be shining again.

Last Friday, a group of Manorites took part in the Lower School General Knowledge Quiz and were delighted to walk away as Champions – well done to Poppy, Alex, Chloe, Edwin, Belles and Griff; the pupils were all rewarded with ‘Manor Legend’ status and chocolate to celebrate their efforts.

This weekend we are heading off to the New Forest Water Park; we have run this trip for several years now and it is always one of the most popular trips of the year – I’m not sure whether it is the pupils or the staff who are most excited!
