Dauntsey's Dodecahedron 2018
The Dauntsey’s Dodecahedron is a highly respected annual maths competition. The competition sees over 900 able mathematicians, from over 50 schools across the south west region, participating in the preliminary round. The competition is open to pupils aged 12 or under on the 31 August 2018.
The preliminary round takes place at the participating schools with pupils sitting an hour-long multiple choice paper of 32 questions. The papers are marked by the competing schools from materials supplied by Dauntsey’s and the results should be submitted below by Tuesday 1 May 2018.
Finals day - Thursday 14 June
A finals day will be held at Dauntsey’s on Thursday 14 June for around 30 of the most successful pupils. The day will start at 9.30 am and finish at 3 pm with lunch provided. Please note that finalists will need to make their own transport arrangements.
To obtain an invite to the finals day is a significant achievement in itself, and although competitive, the emphasis of the day will be on enjoyment with everyone taking part in a variety of maths challenges, games and investigations.

Submitting preliminary round results - by Tuesday 1 May
Schools may complete the preliminary round at a time convenient to them, but should return to this page to submit their marks by Tuesday 1 May. Please register the scores of your top 4 or 5 candidates. Please note that an online form will appear by the beginning of the Summer Term in April.
