Dauntsey's Dodecahedron 2020
The Dauntsey’s Dodecahedron is a highly respected annual maths competition. The competition sees over 900 able mathematicians, from over 50 schools across the south west region, participating in the preliminary round. The competition is open to pupils aged 11 or 12 on the 31 August 2020 (Current Year 6 or 7).
The preliminary round takes place at the participating schools with pupils sitting an hour-long multiple choice paper of 32 questions. The papers are marked by the competing schools from materials supplied by Dauntsey’s and the results should be submitted by Friday 1 May. Please submit your results in the online form below.
Finals day - Friday 12 June
A finals day will be held at Dauntsey’s on Friday 12 June for around 30 of the most successful pupils. The day will start at 9.30am and finish at 3.00pm with lunch provided. Please note that finalists will need to make their own transport arrangements.
To obtain an invite to the finals day is a significant achievement in itself, and although competitive, the emphasis of the day will be on enjoyment with everyone taking part in a variety of maths challenges, games and investigations.
