Daily Routines
Whether day or boarding, all Dauntsey's pupils begin their day with registration and a short meeting with their housemaster or housemistress which takes place in their house. On weekdays, there are eight taught periods in the day, whilst on Saturdays there are six.
Six-days-a-week
As a six-day-a-week School with boarding at its heart and extracurricular activities woven into the day, we can strike a balance between academic lessons and developing other interests. Evening events, such as lectures, drama and musical performances, are open to day pupils as well as our boarders, while Saturday night socials and Sunday outings are often highlights of the week.

School Uniform

School uniform is worn by all pupils from the First to the Fifth Form. Sixth form pupils are not expected to wear school uniform but their dress and appearance should be in a style that would be appropriate in a formal business environment. School dress is worn until 5.30pm from Monday to Friday and up to 1.30pm on Saturdays, after which pupils may change into their own clothes. However, if pupils are involved in matches or any other school activity, including general set games, they must remain in uniform until their commitments are fulfilled.
School Bus Routes

Each school day, 15 buses bring Dauntsey's pupils from across the county (and beyond) to school. Details of routes, times and charges can be found in the Bus routes timetable - the bus timetable for 21/22 is being reviewed. Please direct any queries to Mr Nick Barnes - n.barnes@dauntseys.org
Catering

Over 1,700 meals are served each day in the dining Hall and there is a wide choice of food at every meal time, breakfasts are varied daily and hot and cold drinks are available thoughout the day. The smell of freshly-baked cakes wafts through the School each afternoon, making tea a popular and lively afternoon break.
