Old Dauntseians
Being a member of the Dauntsey's community goes far beyond your days at school.
The Old Dauntseian Association continues to support its members as they move through the different phases of their lives - be that through providing network opportunities, reigniting lost friendships or offering support when needed. There are also a number of events held throughout the year, both in the UK and abroad that all ODs are warmly invited to attend and of course you are also always welcome to come back and visit the school.
Members of the The Old Dauntseian Association receive regular copies of The ODyssey via email, keeping you up-to-date with news from the school community. If you are not receiving these emails, please get in touch with the Foundation Office.
There are a number of ways that ODs and friends of Dauntsey’s can help and support the school. The following are popular options:
- A regular donation to our Bursary Fund
- A gift to the school
- A legacy for Dauntsey’s – The Olive Society
- Work experience placements
- Mentoring and careers advice for our pupils
- Lectures and/or informal talks
- Helping to organise an OD gathering
In addition, Dauntsey's endeavours to support it's community after they have left the school. The Welfare Fund is a freestanding Charitable Trust, "to render assistance in necessitous cases by advice or financial grant to Old Dauntseians and their families". All applications and all grants are treated in complete confidence; names and facts are never disclosed to anyone other than the Trustees. Please note only cases of genuine hardship will be considered.
