Sixth Formers Dan and Jonty have completed the marathon cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats in just six days. This equates to cycling 150 miles per day, waking up at 5am and finishing cycling at around 8pm.
This week marks Wellbeing Week across the School. World Wellbeing Week is a yearly campaign run by Wellbeing World and aims to raise awareness of wellbeing and explain why it matters. Developing a good wellbeing is important for everyone as it means we are happy and fulfilled. Thinking about how we maintain good mental health from an early age is so important for us all.
After months of planning, designing, building and gardening, we are pleased to announce that The Manor Vegetable Patch is now officially open.
We are so lucky at Dauntsey’s to be surrounded by nature, be it the ducks in the science courtyard, the endless bluebells and rhododendrons on the walk to and from the Manor, or the vast array of plants and wildlife found in our grounds. That said, pausing to reflect on the role nature plays in supporting our psychological and emotional health is crucial.
We are very excited to have received planning permission for an apiary building to provide facilities for our new Bee Club.
Our last week of baking was Show Stopper week! All the bakers were phenomenal in both talent and enthusiasm, and the results looked…. Well…. More than good enough to eat!
The fourth and possibly final Manor Lockdown Supper Club featured delicious fajitas from Mexico.
Pizza day! It was lovely to see so many bakers preparing dinner for the whole family. Who knew pizza dough was so incredibly easy to make!?
