Head Master's Notices
A Happy New Year to everyone and I hope that you enjoyed the Christmas and New Year break. It was great to see everyone in the first assembly of term and, as we start a new decade, I asked them all to think about where they want to be at the start of the next one - there were some very interesting answers, from the staff in particular!
The first week of term has seen the Fifth Form jump straight into their mock examinations and I wish them the best of luck.
Our hockey and netball teams have fixtures tomorrow against King’s Bruton, Bradfield College and Pangbourne, while the DSPA are running a parents’ boot camp, on the athletics track at 11.30pm. More details below.
I look forward to catching up with you all in 2020.

Lower School Notices and Reminders
The peace and quiet that descended on The Manor over the Christmas holiday was very quickly replaced with noise and laughter on Monday evening, as our younger boarders returned to the House, and it was lovely to see so many of the children so happy to be reunited with their friends!
As we settle back into the routines of school life, we look forward to a busy term ahead with plenty of fun activities planned; details for the activities can be found in the School Calendar, which you should have received at the end of last term. This weekend the Manorites will be battling it out at Laserquest, or honing their skills in the Bowling Alley, and a brief shopping stop on the way back to The Manor will enable the children to stock up on ‘essentials’.
Anne Sampson, House Mistress.
Please do follow us on Twitter @ManorDauntseys to keep up to date.
