20 International Society pupils as well as staff members spent a fun exeat weekend in London.
The address, given by our Chaplain the Reverend David Johnson, at our School Carol Services, traditionally marks the end of Dauntsey's Autumn Term.
Thank you to everyone who has given so generously to support the work of The Filling Station charity that feeds homeless people on the streets of Swindon each week.
To commemorate the 38 Old Dauntseians who gave their lives in World War One, a stone seat and plaque were commissioned and formally unveiled at the School on Sunday 11 November, the Centenary of the end of World War 1.
Dauntsey’s has been classed as ‘Excellent’ by the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate (ISI) in a recent inspection.
There was a lovely buzz in The Manor leading up to bonfire night as the pupils spent the evening before preparing pumpkins, and some super (and rather scary) creations were carved!
With no introductions needed, the renowned Lucy Worsley visited Dauntsey’s school and transported us back to colourful Tsarist Russia in her entertaining and informative lecture.
It was a great honour to have Dr David Starkey CBE come to Dauntsey’s to converse with us on October 15.
